According to the calendar, we are towards the end of May, but no one has told the weather. We’ve also had the whimsy of April, the Indian summer of September and the early winter of November in recent weeks. However, this does not change the fact that in June, students go on summer break. But they are not the only ones. The theatres are also closing for the season. And as a final chord in a very devious conclusion, it’s easy to guess: our gallery’s touring exhibition series will also be on hiatus until September. No wonder, since we have organised over 150 exhibitions in rural towns and districts of Budapest in 9 months. Each year, more and more people visit our exhibitions and our proud and happy clientele continues to grow. <\/p>\n

But what makes the kind grandmother proud and happy to have access to her favourite still life or childhood landscapes with a 10-month interest-free instalment? And the ornithologist grandfather who can choose from a selection of bird-themed works by several artists? Or the couple in their 50s and 60s who can now choose from the works of certain artists for their own wall, in pursuit of their passion for collecting? Or perhaps the 30-40s, who are now independent and want to invest their money, not just to enjoy themselves, not just to decorate their homes? Well, they are proud because they know that they can choose from a selection of artists in our exhibitions and on our website who are not only known in Hungary, but also in Europe and, in many cases, worldwide. And the feeling is fulfilled when the painting, print, enamel or sculpture is bought. And the happiness? Who wouldn’t be delighted with a contemporary, artistic and aesthetic marvel that is of lasting value and that pleases the person who buys it? <\/p>\n

\nAlthough our exhibitions can hold “only” 700-800 works, the real relationship between the work and its new owner is formed at the time of the exhibition. That’s why we encourage everyone to come in person. <\/p>\n
