Kálmán Nagy

I was born in Baja in 1956. I graduated from Béla III High School, then I got my diploma at the Teacher Training College in Pécs. I have been living in Zalaegerszeg since 1985 and I work as a freelancer. Since 1989 I am a member of the Association of Fine and Applied Artists of Zalaegerszeg, since 1995 of the National Association of Hungarian Artists (MAOE) and since 2020 of the Parisian Painters Association (Artistes de Ménilmontant).

My works mainly mix the world of abstract painting with figurative elements, and many of my paintings are inspired by the motif of water.

During my career of more than 30 years, I have exhibited my paintings in many exhibitions in Hungary and all over Europe. The list below shows some of my most important solo and group exhibitions.
