I was born in Budapest, in 1967, into a family of artists. I studied art in Budapest under the guidance of Gábor Záborszky, painter, and László Konstantin, graphic artist. From 1990 I worked as a costume designer at Miklós Köllő's Pantomime Theatre. From 1991 I was a graphic designer for the magazine Táncművészet for 10 years. I have been a member of the National Association of Hungarian Artists since 2001. I consider myself a plein-air painter, so I regularly go to nature to paint, to art camps and art camps at home and abroad. But the studio and home also provide inspiration. I live in Budapest, in Budafok Rózsavölgy with my daughter and my mother, Maria Halácsy, who is also a painter. In 1998 I discovered the wonderful water world of Szigetköz, which made me return here regularly for almost 10 years to paint. From this period, several of my solo exhibitions were born. One of the beautiful islands of Dalmatia is Hvar, where Károly Molnár's art studio was based for a long time, and where I returned for a month every spring and autumn from 2009 for nine years.
For several years now, I have also been working on the transfer of my experience. I also teach painting under the name of Art Natura . My students can learn plein air and after nature painting and drawing . We regularly hold camps and courses of a few days. I am a frequent visitor of invited art camps such as Nagymegyer/Slovakia / , Tihany, Császártöltési , Zalaszentgyörgyi, Izsáki, Söjtöri, or Alsópáhok. This year, I was invited to the Felsőbánya Art Camp in October, where work is based on the traditions and spirit of Nagybánya. I also organise an art camp myself in September every year in Söjtör in Zala County, where we also invite professional artists. My major solo exhibitions in recent years were in 2016 at the Hungarian Opera in Cluj-Napoca and in autumn this year at the Petőfi Theatre in Veszprém. In 2017, I was featured in Pesti Divat Magazin and in November 2018 in Diplomata Magazin.
As I am primarily interested in light, nature, water, portraiture and figurative subjects, I look for locations and models that offer a special visual experience that is uplifting to me, and that encourage the expression of both inner and outer beauty. My aim is to convey the experience to the viewer through my own painterly means, so that I can share with them the same joy I have experienced in discovering the view myself. I work mostly in oil and watercolor techniques on canvas, woodblock and hand-dipped watercolor paper. I am interested in landscape, still life, nude, portrait, figurative and animal portraiture. Since 1993 I have exhibited in more than 40 solo exhibitions. My previous exhibitions are:1993 Fehérgyarmat 1995,2000 Esztergom 1996, 2000, 2004 Budapest National Dance Theatre 2012 Budapest 1998 , 2000 Szombathely MMIK 1998, 2002 , 2012 Mosonmagyaróvár 2000 Kapolcs, Valley of Arts 2008 Vienna 1002, 2010 Balatongyörök / together with my mother /2011 Hvar / Croatia /2012 Budapest, Mosonmagyaróvár 2013 2014 Budapest 2016 Gyenesdiás Budapest
