Péter Duhaj

Péter Duhaj was born in 1982 in Lajosmizze.
He has been interested in different arts and music since childhood. He studied piano for many years and painting itself has been a particularly important part of his life since his early years.

He paints whenever he can. He has worked in other fields, but he is more attracted to colour, form, capturing a moment, a feeling. He studied design graphics as a new profession.

In his earlier works, he tried to paint with the eye of the masters of academism, but later he gradually found his own style and means of expression. He was greatly influenced by 20th century and contemporary Hungarian painters (Zsolt Bodoni, István Nyári, István Sándorfi, Tibor Csernus).

He tries to offer something more, more exciting, unique and special, sometimes astonishing with his painting.
His aim will be to paint the way Chopin made music!
