At the heart of my painting is the human being. I want to tell stories about human relationships, about the subtle, inexpressible emotions. About how only our circumstances, our environment, change, and man remains just as he was before. Weak, fallible, in love, mischievous, intriguing and, unfortunately, evil. And as far as pictorial means are concerned, I still believe and teach that thought comes first. The picture should always be about something that is important to someone else, and I assign the means of expression to this, so that the tale is enjoyable and interesting.
