Edina Óvári I am a jeweller, enameller, textile artist and jewellery maker from Angyalföld.
I grew up on the banks of the Danube in Göd, so I have a love of nature. In my schools I got acquainted with arts and their techniques (drawing, needle enamel, ceramics, hand weaving, pottery), so I realized that this is my way: individual creative work.
I am influenced by ancient Hungarian folk art, the Renaissance and Art Nouveau.
I would like to pass on these eternal human values by adding my own soul, feelings and thoughts. I create unique jewellery and fire enamel paintings on commission and by my own design for galleries.
I'm an experimental type - I'm constantly working on perfecting a sawed-based enamelling technique. I use the highest quality materials possible in my work, as I represent myself through my creations. I am an unwavering believer in the power of uniqueness, craftsmanship and resurrection.
