The Vándorfény Gallery will again this year host its highly anticipated Season Opening Exhibition, which is highly anticipated by our regulars, new visitors, artists and staff alike!
As is our tradition for more than 10 years, this time we are going to visit our audiences on the left and right side of the Danube. First we will meet in Zugló on Saturday and Sunday, 15-16 September, and then in the XII. district on Alkotás street on the following weekend, 22-23 September.
What can be expected from these two monumental events?
For example, the familiar relaxed, pleasant atmosphere that visitors to our downtown gallery have already experienced, as well as the public who have honoured our travelling exhibitions in the capital, in the countryside and beyond. The cosy, family atmosphere and the oiliness of friendly conversations are enhanced by the never-empty glasses and delicious snacks.
We would say that we are presenting you with the usual artistic standard, but that would not be true.
Yes, one reason is that we have new artists joining us again this year, adding even more colour to our palette of a thousand colours. Another reason for the continued rise in quality is the ongoing renewal of our artists and the honour and determination to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of our permanent downtown gallery. That's why, since mid-spring, all our active artists have given their time and energy to produce more than 500 works of art. Well, this birthday present for our gallery and for you is what we would like to show in the biggest exhibitions in our country that present the most contemporary works at the same time.

Also a long-standing feature of these exhibitions is the presentation of our autumn catalogue, which our regular customers can get in their mailboxes early - with the added benefit of finding out what's new. We often hear back that the catalogue alone is worth buying from us. And it's true, because year after year it comes out in a more sophisticated, more comprehensive and more comprehensive form from the hands of our dedicated creators.
Our desktop calendar is also a huge success, which in addition to its function, features a different artist each week, both in terms of their biography and their latest works. It's no coincidence that we are honoured from all over the country, from Szentgotthárd to Vásárosnamény, from Balassagyarmat to Mohács, at our season opener, when we present each customer who has bought at least one of our works over the years with a calendar of their choice. We are proud to be present in thousands of households around the world, not only on the walls but also on the tables!
