In spring, huge rose bushes line the banks of the Danube at Grossmaros. They are not only a riot of colour, but also a full flood of fragrance. I always choose the flowers with the strongest fragrance and inhale their fragrance deeply. The rays of the expected sun shine through my hat, creating an interesting play of colours.
