Dear Friend!

On behalf of the Vándorfény Gallery, we cordially invite you to a season-closing get-together on the occasion of the Night of Museums 2025.

For us, this evening is not only a celebration for visitors, but also for our community – a chance to meet, talk, rejoice and bring this season to a close.

In addition to the programmes, you are also welcome to a standing reception, where you can toast with a glass of champagne in a relaxed atmosphere – to our artists, to shared experiences and to time spent together.

Please confirm your participation by 17 June by email or in person at the gallery so that we can prepare accordingly.

We welcome you – with fun, art and champagne:
The Vándorfény Gallery team

Our detailed programme for this special evening:
Night of Museums 2025.

Final brushstroke on canvas – live oil painting with József Fekete painter

16:00-18:00
A jazz-themed oil painting is created in front of the visitors.

Visit the Vándorfény Gallery on Saturday 21 June 2025 between 16:00 and 18:00 and witness artist József Fekete finish a 70×50 cm oil painting in a live performance, evoking the atmosphere of jazz musicians.

In the artist’s dynamic, colour-rich style, the music almost sets the brush in motion – the compositions vibrate, the forms come to life. This special programme is not just a spectacle, but an experience: an insight into the last, most intimate moments of a work of art.

József Fekete is a leading artist at Vándorfény Gallery, whose works explore the visual language of rhythm, movement and music.

Venue: Vándorfény Gallery
Date: 21 June 2025 (Saturday), 16:00-18:00
Free admission as part of the Night of Museums 2025 programme.

Soulful spaces – art in our homes

Night of Museums 2025.

István Jánosi and László Sass in conversation
17:00-18:00
On the relationship between contemporary art collecting, interior design and the personal home. Inspiring reflections on how art can be the soul of the home – and why art collecting is now accessible to everyone.

Soulful spaces – art in our homes

István Jánosi and László Sass discuss the relationship between art and interior design

The artwork not only decorates, but also shapes space and gives soul – it transmits positive energy and creates a connection between the recipient and the creator.

The two founders and owners of the Vándorfény Gallery, István Jánosi and László Sass, invite you to an informal discussion focusing on contemporary art, interior design and the experience of collecting art.

The discussion will include:

  • how a work of art can become the focal point of a space, a focal point of mood,
  • how living with a contemporary work shapes our tastes and thinking,
  • and why collecting art can be not only an aesthetic investment, but also an emotional and cultural one.

“A well-chosen piece of contemporary art not only decorates the wall, but also creates atmosphere, sets the mood and builds a deeper connection between the artist and the viewer

.”
One of the most exciting things about contemporary art is that it is a living, evolving world that we can be part of: we can get to know the artists, follow their work and build a personal connection with the works we choose. This kind of connection also gives a special dimension to our home.

Venue: Vándorfény Gallery, 1053 Budapest, Kossuth Lajos utca 3.
Date: 21 June 2025 (Saturday), from 17:00
The programme is free of charge as part of the Night of Museums 2025.

21:00-22:00

Goldberg Live DJ Set – Funky House in the Gallery

Péter “Goldberg” Kertész’s musical evening at the end of the Night of Museums
2025. 21 June | 21:00-22:00

When the brush is silent, the rhythm is loud!
As the closing chord of the Night of Museums, Péter “Goldberg” Kertész, founder of Goldberg Manufactory, will step behind the DJ booth with a special one-hour funky house set at the Vándorfény Gallery.

He’s been active in the music scene for a surprisingly long time for someone so young, since 2003 – more than two decades of DJing.
His style has always been more melodic, vocal and crowd-friendly, and nowadays he’s increasingly drawn to elegant, upbeat funky house.

Over the years, he’s been to many places, but now his music has been eclipsed by his visual art – which he doesn’t mind, but we’re glad to have him back behind the turntables for an evening.

Contemporary art, rhythm, atmosphere, and a light yet characterful musical experience to close the night – this is what the Night of Museums will be like at the Vándorfény Gallery!

Venue: Vándorfény Gallery
Date: 21 June 2025, 21:00-22:00
