🌙 Night of Museums 2026 at the Vándorfény Gallery
This year marks the fourth time that contemporary art will come to life at the Vándorfény Gallery during Museum Night!
On Saturday, June 20, we look forward to welcoming collectors and art lovers to our downtown exhibition hall with a special program and a huge prize drawing.
Our featured afternoon and evening program: Live painting and an art raffle!
We will be joined by one of the gallery’s most prominent artists, painter Norbert Garay-Nagy, who will create a stunning oil painting live in front of visitors.
HOW CAN YOU WIN THE FINISHED ARTWORK?
We’ll raffle off this one-of-a-kind masterpiece at the end of the event! Conditions for participating in the contest:
- Register for the event (admission is free with a wristband, but registration is required)!
- If possible, please purchase your official event wristband here at the Vándorfény Gallery!
- Join us in person at the gallery for our event, which begins at 5:00 p.m., and be here for the drawing at 7:00 p.m. sharp.
- Buy your wristband from us, and you could be the lucky one to go home with an original painting by Norbert Garay-Nagy!

What should you know about Norbert Garay-Nagy?
The Vác-born artist, a recipient of the Prima Primissima regional award, is one of the most respected figures in Hungarian portrait and figurative painting. As a special honor, he won the Sándor Palace competition, which allowed him to paint the official portraits of every Hungarian president over the past 35 years. His works straddle the line between photorealism and surrealism. In addition, he is a dedicated teacher: at the Garay Art Studio, a fine arts school he founded in Vác, he nurtures the next generation of artists.
